Rastbolzen GN 817.4 entsprechen GN 817 , jedoch sind sie anstelle des runden Knopfes mit einem T-Griff versehen.

Diese Form bietet eine optische Orientierung hinsichtlich der Raststellung bei Form C und ist von Vorteil, wenn größere Entriegelungskräfte auftreten.

Die Form C wird eingesetzt, wenn der Raststift zeitweise nicht vorstehen soll. Hierzu wird der Knopf nach dem Einziehen des Stiftes um 90° gedreht. Durch eine Rastkerbe wird der Knopf in dieser Position gehalten.
