Die Rastkerbe bei Rastriegeln GN 721.6 bewirkt, dass der Raststift in der eingezogenen Position gehalten wird.
Bei symmetrischer Anordnung mehrerer Rastriegel erlauben die links- bzw. rechtssteigenden Kurven, eine sinnfällige Betätigung, z.B. indem immer nach außen gedreht werden muss um zu entriegeln.
