Forged
Shackles GN 584.1 are used to connect chains, ropes, straps, or belts to one another in a detachable manner or to secure them to appropriate fastening points. They are used, for example, for angle limiters, anti-loss devices, barriers, suspended signs, and splash guards, or as tensioning and bracing elements. Commercial version shackles must not be used for lifting operations within the meaning of the Machinery Regulation.
The stainless steel version is suitable for use in particularly corrosive environments.
